I am reading the comments posted here and I just want to take a minute to comment on the direction that we seem to be turning. It appears to me that we are somehow anonymously being taken off the topic that we intended to discuss and that is allegations of corruption and misconduct. I am seeing name calling and pointing at others which is fine as this country is all about free speech, but it seems to be distracting from the real issues here. Can we please get to posting facts of what ol' "J.R Ewing-circus" and his crew are doing and not worry about ragged houses and things like that. I really want to hear from anyone in Melbourne Village and Melbourne Beach that has experienced good things and bad things. I especially am interested in these retalitory acts that have been carried out. I know people are circus clowns and misguided in their thinking who are posting their irrational thoughts here which probabaly came from the sideshow or his/her cronies. I expect to see that, but for goodness sake post a name with your totally irrational point. None of us here from what i read except for the "anonymous" posters have any intention of retaliation for anyone who posts the facts as they see it. We are all above that and mature adults here. This is just my thoughts and I am sure someone will be a wise a$$ and blast me all to pieces but i feel better i have spoken my mind. Please comment as you see fit. Thanks for reading my 2 cents.

I agree with everything you said, the issue before us is an important one and there is much more that people have to say. I have a feeling that some are afraid that if they say anything Syrkus and his Freaks will know it is them. I say to them, do not be afraid of this guy or his followers, they can’t do anything to you and you are giving them too much credit. As you could see, if you were reading the whole conversation neither one of us could believe that this man could have two women at the same time under one roof hense the alternative explanation. Com'on are you blind? Not that it's important to the issue, it was just our curiosity speaking out loud. YOU didn't see us attacking a whole group of people like YOU did, did ya? I feel free to speak my mind as an anonymous commentator, but I wouldn’t dare post a name here, and it has everything to do with retaliation. This Blog was established as retaliation in itself. I don’t want to have to worry about the unwarranted retaliation I would face simply for telling the truth. The truth is Someone applied for a position with our local police department, and was turned down. Because he was turned down, he has decided to cause trouble. How much grief and aggravation has this person caused already? How much has he cost our town? How much will he end up costing each and every one of us before this is all over?
Is this the kind of person you want working for our town? Is this the kind of person you want driving around at night “Protecting” us? Do you want to have to wonder “What is that officers real motivation, and what kind of trouble can he cause for our town when he encounters someone he doesn’t like?” Is this guy going to snap during the middle of a traffic stop and kill someone? I don’t want to have to question the judgement of any officer employed by our town. Nor do I want to have to fear retaliation for simply saying “This is Wrong. Stop hurting our town. Nothing good can come from this.”

And yes, she did ask for an investigation! The notary checked a box that said a DL was presented which wasn't the truth because again, this ex didn't have one and she wasn't even in the damned state of Florida when the document was signed. What else would you like to know. As for retaliation, that would be David Syrkus' "MO." That's what he does. Geez, get with the program.
As for the other anonymous, you wouldn't know interesting if it came up to you and kicked you in the head. Why do you feel you need our real names. The points we are trying to make are what they are no matter what name is on the post. We asked that you make something up so that we can distinguish you apart from the others. Clear this up for me please. Do we know how many people are being asked? I am sure that at least one or two at a minimum have a problem ( residents that is) with The police chief going to south carolina on personal use as they are paying for the gas to get there and if there is an accident god forbid the bill for a new police car. I as a resident would be downright mad and demand that the town be reimbursed if I knew this were true. Do you have any knowledge of this? Please tell me so I may demand a break on my city taxes as I ain't financing some darn booty call or whatever personal reason there was to drive all that way. Were you called? B.B. Do you really believe we should all stay home with our families, instead of attending Town Meetings? The unfortunate truth is that most of our town’s citizens DO stay home. If more people came out on a regular basis, they would understand just how dysfunctional our town commissioners are.
The majority of our town has no idea what goes on in those meetings. They have no idea that the Mayor they just re-elected doesn’t even have the ability to maintain order and decorum during the course of those meetings. They have no idea that a sitting commissioner conducts himself with outright contempt for the citizens of this town, nor do they understand the damage he is causing on a daily basis.
There are a handful of “Regulars” who step up to the podium and voice their support for enacting ordinances which further restrict our property rights, and ultimately destroy the character of our community. There are people actually who stand up and publicly state that it would be good for our town if a hurricane were to sweep through and completely destroy “The Breakers Condominimums” so that they could be prevented from rebuilding. These same people who publicly wish great economic harm on our fellow citizens are called upon by our mayor, by name, to voice their opinion and help him decide how to vote on issues before the commission. People who publicly delight in the idea of our fellow citizens losing everything they have worked so hard for are actually revered by our mayor, our new vice mayor, and a sitting commissioner who has nothing but contempt for the majority of the citizens of Melbourne Beach.
Some of us attend those meetings on a monthly basis, not because we agree with what the mayor and commissioners are doing. Not because we agree with the people who want to destroy the character of our town by regulating it to death and outlawing existing structures. Not because we have nothing better to do. But because we want to see first hand what absolutely stupid things our closed minded commissioners will do next, and what it will ultimately cost us all in the end.
Stevie Boy Don't you have anything better to do with your time than make posts to this site? Go sell some signs or something. Get out of town...get out of Brevard county. We don't need you here anymore. You've caused enough trouble for everyone. Just remember, what goes around, comes around. It is headed your way...just like Katrina. Sad sue isn't working for fair or equal government. There are many tests that are taken to become a police officer..if any of those tests are not passed, one cannot become a police officer.
I believe what "anonymous" was saying is, if anyone who applied to a police department should fail the psychological portion of the exam, they could not be hired as a police officer. End of story.
so are you also saying that if YOU apply for a position on Melbourne beach under Fat ass and YOU fail the psychological portion of the exam, which isn't true about Dean by the way, then it's also ok for Fat ass to tell the whole town about it.
