Hey Davie Boy, I am looking at current trends and have to ask if you plan on waiting till you are removed from office or if you will man up (DAIVID A MAN... I AM FUNNY!) and resign? Wait no I want him fired so he loses his retirement! 2. You could have given Sherry her share and found a second job if you needed the money so badly.
3. You could have given Sherry her share, apologized for the pistol whipping, keeping her baby from her, being a piece of s&*% husband and wasting her time.
4. You could have given Sherry her share then jumped off of a really, really, REALLY tall building so none of the rest of us would have had to put up with your, “look at me, I’m a chief” bullsh#$.

But to make up for the 17 year void in their relationship in which Davie had disallowed visits of their son by his Mother, Davie took a family album belonging to he and his present wife. Pictures of his wedding, his home, his cabin, his dogs, and one (1) single picture of their son.

It is my understanding from the charter in MelBeach that only the manager has a say in hiring employees. It certainly looks as if a manager is protecting employees at this time. Maybe he will too be a believer when it is time for cuffing. Not sure what stories he has listened to, but he sure makes the town look silly leaving an officer working while under criminal investigation.

Florida today has a nice piece on this whole fiasco and man are the lies getting thick. I read that and must say that syrkus just can't remember who he told what. It was handled through a realator, Well I would like to know the name of said realator oh wait that would be on the paperwork signed at closing, I know when I bought my house in indialantic, on the settlement statement it lists all realators who were involved with the transaction so they get their money unless there was some shady stuff going on and someone who is not licensed was in on the transaction and didnt want to appear in this fiasco. Hmmmmm oh wait i know the realator now his name is Cesar Romaro AKA the joker right? the real estate company must be the " I am david and I think I am slick when in reality the only thing that is slick will be my rectum when i am in jail" (they are a new and up & coming company.)
This is not my usual type of post but I am so fed up of all the lies and crap this guy is spewing and how he has hurt so many people i am enraged that he even holds office. I have seen over the many years good police officers fired for a lot less and this guy keeps working. There was a cop in cocoa I am told that was ON SUSPENSION FOR 2 YEARS for simply ALLEGATIONS of wrongdoing and I looked into this and found it is true. He was simply accused of being on the take and involved in drugs and other criminal activities. The charges were investigated but he was SUSPENDED FROM DAY ONE. Mel Beach why dont you call cocoa and ask them how to do things in these situations? The officer was eventually cleared of all wrongdoing and is now a Sergent on road patrol but he was OUT OF WORK while they did the investigation. If theres anyone on the council or has any idea why this is not happening please speak up? Is the fix in? Sound off?

As an insider to this spectacle, it is quite amusing to read your various posts. Some are based on facts while others write wild fantasy!
Personally, I think the Commissioners have been remiss in their duty to accept the problem and suspend the Chief with pay. But Melbourne Beach probably has the very worst government in the County. The negative reputation is reaching the point where "legendary" is the word to use in describing the history of incompetence.
Pat Burke may only be somewhat more guilty than the police officers who signed the documents. They're all in trouble for witnessing a signature of a person not present. Law officers are expected to know the importance of what they're signing and the ramifications of their signatures on documents.
The interim Town Manager is performing poorly (already) by not advising the Mayor of the Town's responsibility. Let me say the Town had several outstanding candidates for the interim manager position but the Commission ignored all of the best choices. Something has gone dreadfully wrong in the decision-making process.
O'Hara should have been placed as interim Chief so David could take a vacation with pay. That's the way it's done in most Towns-Cities when events reach the current level.
The iterim Manager, being subjected to a background check by a man who should be suspended, is in no position to do the deed. The Mayor should be bringing this issue to the Commission in a special meeting. Been there, done that...now get on with the business at hand...as unpleasant as that may be!

It would seem that she was part of a conspiracy to commit fraud, unlike Burke and the officers who were duped into acting as they did. Just depends on how much she knew and when she knew it. She might be in a good position to turn State's witness for the prosecution and get a reduced sentence. However, the prosecuter may end up with so much evidence that he won't need her help in making a strong case against the couple.

For instance, one applicant had a doctorate degree in Public Administration and teaches people how to be city managers at UCF. He had prior experience as an assistant county manager for a small rural county. He lives in Indialantic and was recommended by that Town's manager, Chris Chenault.
What's needed is someone with a strong personality, leadership ability and attitude that says 'we're going to fix this Town together,everything is possible, it's time to lay down our swords and make it happen.'
There were others who also had interesting and diverse backgrounds.

These officers spoke with FDLE and were cleared of any wrong doing. They did not steal money from an ex, they did not take documents out of their file and hide them and they did not pistol whip their significant others, etc, etc, etc! I would appreciate it if you would explain what you mean with this line. This whole blogging idea began with others. This blog was started because several people were not allowed to voice their opinions on the other blog. Now here we, you and I, are both putting our opinions on this blog and from the sound of the above statement, you think something is wrong? Repaid? Not sure what you mean. Please respond. This may have been seen as a threat in your previous posting and if you are threatening, I can't help you to get posted.

First of all if someone got your password and posted at 3:27 am under fair is fair then sorry not my fault. As far as not posting your post I can't help you there I didn't delete it.
