You included the theft part, but failed to mention the false claim he made to FDLE on Dean.
I am not sure what a citizen would get for filing a false claim on a cop, but a chief filing one on a citizen should get him something.

maybe he's selling his collection of police patches or the t shirts he had the different towns buy.

geterdone, I have not kept up with poor paul's buys, but he is a public official and should abide by the rules. As to the towns manager waiting (on what, I am not sure) to get rid of the circus, I agree with you..... IT STINKS!
The jerk should have been fired a long time ago. The department deserves a real chief and the delays in doing so has to be a pain for all employees. I have never understood why the Commission allowed the TM to bring in the SO. Okay, for a week or so, fine, but this has gone on tooooo far.
Maybe the town needs a new manager. Everything I have seen and read about him says to me that he is not qualified to stand up for the people when the job gets beyond easy, you know, when a little common sense is needed.

Wouldn't it be just too bad if Davie had to miss his date with the court. There's a lot of folks that would help find him should he go amiss, if you know what I mean.
And won't it be good to get to listen to Patty explain her way out of this. What do you think she will be telling her new boss as to why she won't be to work that day?
