When is the town going to step up, TM especially and get him off the employee list. It took the Town FOREVER to suspend him (even under criminal investigation) and now it seems we are waiting until after election to be rid of him. His misconduct, putting it lightly, has nothing to do with the election. Get rid of him, run an ad for a new chief, let go of the SO and let's move to a better time. The Town will remain stagnant until these things are done. The people deserve better.
As for the blame on DD, it only proves the point of small people blaming the wrong person for bad things. If the TM won't do his best to move the Town forward, then maybe it's time for his replacement. It is his job to hire and look at backgrounds. With the latest resignation and the knowledge of his covering pertinent information regarding the interim chief, it leaves one wondering as to whether or not he is the right person for the job.
As for the statute of limits, why would our State Attorney bother to allow these charges to be filed if there was nothing there. Why would he ask the Gov. to appoint a Special Prosecutor if there was nothing there.
Delay? Maybe, but I hope not.
"Town hire him back"? I think it would cause a lot of upheaval amongst the citizens.
Ok, here's my prediction. We'll go to the docket sounding on Friday morning; retard won't be there because he's too damned ashamed of himself and knows we'll be there to look at our handy work. He won't want to give us the satisfaction. His lawyer will play his games and get a delay on account of rain or something stupid. When all is said and done, David won't get jail time, unfortunately, from what I hear. He will however get his fat booty kicked out of the police business. No one, even the last chief standing who actually believed Davie's BS, wants to be seen with him. They certainly don't want him ranked the same as them. His former officers are glad he's gone. It's just the stupid, stupid, idiot men on that idiot council and that even dumber TM who are still hanging on to the hopes that their fat buddy will come back and help ruin their town some more.

Here's your answer! The division in Melbourne Beach was caused by none other than people like you. Your council is the laughing stock of all beach side communities. Citizen's like Sad Sue, YOU and other's who continuously blame other's for your mess are also the laughing stock of our beachside communities. There's your answer dumb ass! If your council had done their jobs in the first place we wouldn't be here and DD would probably be in law enforcement. You don't like DD, this is clear to all, could it be that you are Davie boy and are pissed that he nailed your ass? You just don't screw with people, especially their lively hoods. Period!
David Syrkus, maybe, learned a very expensive, valuable lesson here, because of his actions of vindictiveness and sticking his nose in places it had no business being, i.e., politics he's now out of a career, his wife can't stand him and his reputation is shot. Not that he had a good reputation to begin with.
As for my prediction? Guess I'm good! He didn't show up, his attorney did try to play the law game to get evidence thrown out but was unsuccessful and the trial is set for November. It may just be a happy Thanksgiving for all. Davie boy is the biggest turkey of all.

Darn it, we all got ready for a trial date and the 29th was a let down. Instead of a trial date, we find another docket sounding for the 9th of November. I had a caller today that said the trial WILL START on the 9th or 10th of November. That would be sweet. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around, the Circus could be SET UP, or SET DOWN, or still pending sentencing.
I had another caller who brought it to my attention that a certain Fire Department, one that is incorporated, had failed to get an annual report to the State this year. Because of the reports lateness, the State had deemed this corporation "inactive". My question to any of you who know is what does this do to the contracts said fire department may have with others? Are they still good or would they have to be re-negotiated?

That is how Davie turns the heat towards others when the heat comes his way. If you have a complaint filed with the FEC, you submit over 100 pages of made up tales on others instead of answering the questions.
The only out for Davie was the investigations inability to prove intent, but the public record that came out of it will help nail him on other charges. LOL

It has been my experience that when a town employs an employee who wrongs or continues to wrong the people of the town, it sometimes ends up in court with the person having to file against the town itself. Recognizing that the Commission as well as all town employees are PUBLIC SERVANTS, it is difficult to understand why anyone lets this go on.
A town continuing to employ such an employee seems to be putting the town itself at a higher risk.
The contridicting stories sent to the ethics commission by the circus are making some wonder what the heck is keeping him on the employee list.

I have a question,
DS still collects comp time from the town of Melbourne Beach. This comp time is based on his word on how many hours he put in. With that said, and his seemingly dishonest character, who was the idiot who took DS at his word? I've seen lot's of comp time handed out but never this much. Can anyone tell me who checked to make sure David Syrkus wasn't trying his "MV steal the money" caper on MB? What about it? Anyone?

Isn't it amazing that when the former TM, who obviously helped himself and helped Davie help himself to the town's money was under fire, all of the Circus freaks were fighting tooth and nail to keep them around? Why do you suppose that is? Now that they know what happened and how Davie Boy got all of that comp time their pissed at US! I say, WHO CARES! Sorry about their bad luck that they hired a crook for a chief and a crook for a TM. How was that our fault? Hint for MB, BACKROUND CHECKS! Here's a suggestion for them; send someone credible to a little town that DOES manage themselves in a professional way. Might I suggest Indian Harbour Beach? It's not too far of a drive. They have the lowest tax rates of all the beachside communities because they have very little debt besides their payroll. They DO listen to their citizens and they have an HONEST Chief and TM. Use them as a guideline. Their Police Officers are top notch and they don't follow or harass someone if they ask for PUBLIC RECORDS! Go in there and try to file a complaint, I'll guarantee that at no time will a sergeant get in your face and yell at you! If you go to one of their town meetings you won't hear a bunch of illiterate idiots sitting in the stands heckling the speaker. If they do, they'll be escorted out by the sergeant at arms. In contrast MB can’t conduct a town meeting without all of the drama they seem to thrive on. They hire people with fake degrees and can’t seem to keep employees. They let people like Sad Sue run amuck and a couple of their commissioners have no business being on their council because they do nothing but create a hostile environment for the others. Now, I don’t live in IHB nor do I live in MB but I do know what goes on in both places and would choose IHB over MB anytime. Indialantic wouldn’t even be a consideration with what they’ve done in the recent past to a citizen not even living there. I know a couple of realtors who, when asked to show homes on the beachside, avoid those 2 town’s if possible.
