OK let me get this straight. The newspaper said that in a complaint Sherry Thomas sent to Melbourne Village, Thomas wrote that she's never been to Melbourne Village nor is that her siguature or her address on the deed. Yet there are two (2) documents signed on two different dates, months apart, that have the same address listed as hers & the two (2) documents are witnessed by four (4) different people. Two people on each document. So, are we to assume that both of these signatures are forged? Somehow Ms. Thomas stories don't add up..she states that she's never been to Melbourne Village & yet there are two (2) siguatures with the same address & different witnesses, months apart. She signs a letter stating that the sale of the house is proper & now with this third letter she recants her story. It seems to me that Ms. Thomas can't keep her stories straight!

FIRST of all Hector, Show me this information saying that the information was FOUND. I have yet to see this, I did see the part where they got the article from an outside source.
Second, look at ANY police department and tell me what would happen to ANY other DISPATCHER or ROAD OFFICER that fell asleep while working? Was there another Melbourne Beach Officer that had a problem (family) and fell asleep on duty? WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM? Syrkus is a scum bag in my opinion. OH POOR ME, I WAS A SINGLE FATHER (hmmm wonder why she left?) and I was heavily medicated (hmmm, possibly drugs that help to pass polygraph?)
THIRD, WAKE UP MORON...I would have given him a good reference just to get his stink breath away from me too!
Well, I guess we will just have to wait & see what FDLE finds. Then all the name calling & big egos will be put to rest.
Hector, you may want to get your facts straight, there were 4 offenses of sleeping on duty, 1 in dispatch and the others in the police car. Moreover, if an officer is on that much medication, he wouldn't be trusted with an important position like answering a freakin 911 call, Dah. That's a crock, think about it. You obviously don't know the half of it. You just watch and you will see. Big Ram, she left him because he stuck a gun in her face and then proceeded to pistal whip her(allegedly.) Real nice guy huh Hector. Do you beat your wife??? Gatorland, you are mistaking "big egos" with people who know what the hell is going on and are trying to open the eyes of the melbourne beach poeple. This isn't going away until this idiot is gone. He's done too many bad things to others and thinks he's above the law. He does not deserve to carry that badge, why should the citizens respect the badge when he has no respect for it. We have some of the best law enforcement officers in this county, sure there are some questionable ones but for the most part they are the best. When someone like Syrkus manages to somehow get his hands on a badge, a chiefs badge no less, it reflects on our community and law enforcement as a whole. And finaly Hector, The media picked it up because that's what they do. I didn't see any sensationalizm in that broadcast. What I did see was the beginning of Syrcus' downfall. Don't slam them for doing their job. Oh, Sherry Thomas' story has remained the same until David found her and made her write that SECOND statement. She had been hiding from him for 15 years and he tricked his ex-sister inlaw into showing him where she lives. Her story is what it is and david is what he is. Neither one will change.
