OK people due to the alarming amount of rudeness and JUST DOWNRIGHT mean comments to eachother, I am forced to make this post. You will direct your posts to the topic.. OR IT DOESNT GET POSTED. You will not call eachother some of the NASTY things that I have rejected! It is OK to argue..Just be someright courteous about it. Real Melbeach, I will be happy to post the link to your "blog" or any other ones on here as long as you make the post clean! No more of the nasty name calling. If you guys dont like it you wont see your post on here! I hate to CENSOR anyone but it has to be done at this point due to the nature of the discussions. I enjoy hearing both points of the arguement (yes, I am a little biased due to the lies of the past!) but I would like to be able to say that it is kept PG... It is understood that there is a lot of information coming out lately about David and his PAST (as well as possible futur)..BUT for real people, do we have to uncivilized to eachother? The posts that I have rejected are downright NASTY! Thanks, Big_Ram!

TURKEY DAY!

Folks, with all this talk about other "turkeys" I just wanted to take a minute to say Happy Thanksgiving to ALL of you. A long time ago today our ancestors played "circus" on the indians... Sure we will take those beautiful blankets...All you want in return is a little land...SURE! oh well...At least we get to eat good meal!

HAHA, Hope you all have a good day... Eat lots and enjoy the games on TV! Spend time with family and enjoy...Some may not have much free time left! CLANK CLANK go the jail house bars...Maybe I will come up with Christmas story for ya'll! Might as well enjoy it.

Ok...Now we will focus.......

I am reading the moderated comments and some of the ones that were posted and I am beginning to become deeply concerned. I am afraid folks that the anonymous posters are starting to ruin a good thing here so we now have some new game rules:

1) There will be no more posts about people's relatives, lifestyles or nonsense that just doesn't make sense. We don't care about peoples houses or if they are rednecks or whatever. This blog is about bringing facts to table about officials who are doing the wrong thing. LET'S STICK TO THE FACTS AND ASK THE QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ASKED. We will not post anything that is off topic....NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU TRY TO POST IT. IF IT DOESN'T GO WITH THE TOPIC IT AINT GETTING POSTED!!!!! GET IT!!!!!

2) If you want to post....CREATE A SCREENNAME, it doesn't have to be your real name but it can't be anonymous anymore. We need to be able to address a person by name as people cant figure out which anonymous says what to who. I don't care what you call yourself just make a name up. This will help us know who to respond to. I don't care what you say unless it is totally off topic but put some kind of name behind it again IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE YOUR REAL NAME BUT IT HAS TO BE A NAME NONETHELESS. Use your imaginary friends name if you have to....GET MY POINT???????

3) Leave innocent people out of your posts please, People's wives are innocent for our purposes, Peoples family members (living or not) are off limits as they didn't make these people do wrong so lets not bash them. It's bad enough these spouses selected these schmucks so nothing we can say will come close to the embarassment they already have so lets leave them alone OK!!!!

4) Let me recap......

I am reading the comments posted here and I just want to take a minute to comment on the direction that we seem to be turning. It appears to me that we are somehow anonymously being taken off the topic that we intended to discuss and that is allegations of corruption and misconduct. I am seeing name calling and pointing at others which is fine as this country is all about free speech, but it seems to be distracting from the real issues here. Can we please get to posting facts of what ol' "J.R Ewing-circus" and his crew are doing and not worry about ragged houses and things like that. I really want to hear from anyone in Melbourne Village and Melbourne Beach that has experienced good things and bad things. I especially am interested in these retalitory acts that have been carried out. I know people are circus clowns and misguided in their thinking who are posting their irrational thoughts here which probabaly came from the sideshow or his/her cronies. I expect to see that, but for goodness sake post a name with your totally irrational point. None of us here from what i read except for the "anonymous" posters have any intention of retaliation for anyone who posts the facts as they see it. We are all above that and mature adults here. This is just my thoughts and I am sure someone will be a wise a$$ and blast me all to pieces but i feel better i have spoken my mind. Please comment as you see fit. Thanks for reading my 2 cents.

Is the circus in town??

On another Blog, it is said that the stench of elephant dung was overwhelming! That person must have been smelling the breathe of the Circus! Funny how they say that we should respect eachother and they say not to be harsh...YET they push for cheers when some makes a negative comment...HMMM, these people are interesting. Funny how this happened at Melbourne Village when the Circus came to town there also....COINCEDENCE, I think not. The fact is that once people DO realize the stuff Syrkus does he lies about it and then tries his best to make the other look bad. He even once told his officers to pull the former mayors wife over and write her a ticket for anything just to prove his manhood. SOUND like the person you want running YOUR police department?? Lets get even with everyone that crosses me attitude doesnt belong in law enforcement. It belongs in prison or garbage! OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE actually listen to this guy and then investigate every word he says.. YOU WILL SEE HOW EDUCATED HE IS. ANYBODY WHO HAS TO BUY A DEGREE BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO LAZY TO SIT IN A CLASSROOM DOESNT DESERVE THE RANKING OF CHIEF.

Around Town???

Well, hello neighbors!
I just wanted to let ya know that there is a meeting in Melbourne Beach.
From what I read on the "other Blog" there are 2 meetings?
one meeting is Wednesday night (commission meeting)
the other meeting is a "special" meeting Thursday Night.

I have not verified this so if it is true someone let me know...Heck I may go just to get my fill of deception for the month!

Well, if anybody has the times and any details on these meetings let us know. From what I understand, David will be addressing some "issues"...Only issue I wanna hear is the TRUTH... Of course it will probably be someone else's fault...Like always....poor victim! of course when I say victim, I mean ALL of the people that have listened to the lies...He does however, play a good victim! I feel sorry for him everytime I look at him!

FDLE SAYS YES!!

Well ladies and Gentlemen, those of you that did not hear the news last night (OR THE CHEER OF THE CROWD!) FDLE has now told channel 9 they WILL investigate David Syrkus! Guess someone finally decided enough was enough and REALLY wants the TRUTH! I just have to say that I am again proud that FDLE finally stepped up to the plate! I do want to give David some advise....Dont drop the soap! (mainly out of respect for the innocent eyes!)

Deception??

OK, Many people have asked how can an officer enforce the laws in the State of Florida if they cannot be trusted in everyday lives? I, personally do not think that Officers should be in power if they cannot be trusted, why should a Police Chief? Officers are asked to be of good moral characters...Do Police Chief's get exemption from this? Ask Syrkus what actions were taken when his son was the suspect in a criminal investigation? How can a person be trusted to enforce laws that they break themselves? Ask Syrkus about driving a police vehicle to go pick up some alcohol and meet with a "special Friend".... HMMMM, Check the statutes on when an officer is allowed to use the FCIC system to find out information about someone to get them fired???? What did happen at 7-11? Why did that employee that called the police to report possible misconduct (SOUNDS LIKE A WHISTLE BLOWER TO ME) get fired after a letter from DAVID??

Theft??

Lets see, the value of the Incentive pay was How much, lets let the readers decide, after having a look at the actual statute whether this was theft or just a little misunderstanding! I understand that it is possible that someone would (over a period of how long??) assume a large amount of money from an employer that HE signed for himself! But why is the police chief (the one that signs and acknowledges the payments) accepting this money? I look at every one of my paychecks and I know every penny that is coming in and going out, so David made the mistake that cost taxpayers? If he can overlook something this simple in HIS OWN paycheck, what stops him from making mistakes in other areas with taxpayers money? Why did he not report this himself? Why did someone else have to step in and do the PROPER and MORAL thing by making Syrkus return the money he "accidentally" took?

Here, take a look at the statute and tell me what you think:


812.014 Theft.--
(1) A person commits theft if he or she knowingly obtains or uses, or endeavors to obtain or to use, the property of another with intent to, either temporarily or permanently:
(a) Deprive the other person of a right to the property or a benefit from the property.
(b) Appropriate the property to his or her own use or to the use of any person not entitled to the use of the property.
(c) It is grand theft of the third degree and a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084, if the property stolen is:
